However using tea as a medical treatment is not commonly prescribed or suggested as a treatment as doctors rarely recognize an herbal treatment as appropriate. This is due to the fact that herbs work differently for different people and cannot always be predictable which is why we only suggest they can be used to treat certain ailments here.
